We have a series of talks at Vegayan on “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Prof Kulkarni, IITB. He brings with him experience of training Executives and Foremen at Crompton Greaves. These talks are based on the book with the same title. The book teachings are nothing but bare common sense. The seven habits provide a framework for understanding personal development.
The Seven Habits
- Be Proactive
- Begin with the End in Mind
- Put First Things First
- Think Win Win
- Seek First to Understand, Then be Understood
- Synergize
- Sharpen the Saw
We thank Prof. Kulkarni for the insight into these seven habits.

It was a really good series altogether. Helped many of improve at both personal and professional levels. The speaker Prof Kulkarni at some instances was better than Stephen Covey- author of the book “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”. He could connect really well with the contemporary scenarios and took ahead things in an easy-to-understand-and-adapt way. I hope such activities will continue in future as well.
